I decided to do some lines radiating out from each of the segments, about 1/4" apart. It was tedious at first, but once I got in the groove it actually started to go pretty quickly. I can't imagine doing an entire quilt like this though!
I machine bound it in the teal ombre, which was perfect for this! My machine binding skillz are improving, though I still prefer hand binding.

ReplyDeletetotally in love with this mini, and wow so impressed with your machine binding skills, i do it by hand coz with my machine I always sew on the binding *g*
ReplyDeleteLove the texture created by your quilting! It looks amazing. I haven't tried machine binding yet. I really enjoy hand stitching the binding onto the back, but sometimes I think I'd enjoy the speed of machine binding.
ReplyDeleteI am always intrigued with how people choose names for their quilts. And your machine binding looks great!
ReplyDeletebeautifully done and such a good name for it
ReplyDeleteLove it, love the name, love the quilting! I still haven't braved machine binding, myself, and thus your skillz look fabulous to me!
