Jagged Little Pill

I took some time to quilt my new mini the other day! I was calling this mini 'Prozac' for a hot second, as a reflection of the therapeutic effects of quilting/sewing, but then I realized that 'Jagged Little Pill' was way more fitting, and goes along with my naming-quilts-after-songs thing. :-)

I decided to do some lines radiating out from each of the segments, about 1/4" apart. It was tedious at first, but once I got in the groove it actually started to go pretty quickly. I can't imagine doing an entire quilt like this though!

I machine bound it in the teal ombre, which was perfect for this! My machine binding skillz are improving, though I still prefer hand binding.

  3. Love the texture created by your quilting! It looks amazing. I haven't tried machine binding yet. I really enjoy hand stitching the binding onto the back, but sometimes I think I'd enjoy the speed of machine binding.
