I finished all the xplusalong blocks! All 42 of them... it kinda felt like it would take forever, but it wasn't too bad. I'm really tired of looking at some of these prints though, lol.
I arranged them on the design wall and have three rows put together as of right now. I already have my batting and backing ready, so I'm hoping this will finish out quickly so I can put it on my bed and have a little early spring :-)
They look lovely. I started this a long time ago and made exactly one block. I really should go back to it. They are such pretty blocks and are easy enough to make just take some time like you said.
Oh I do love the green/pink/yellow colour combination. I love the pattern you are using. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt in all it's glory.
I have been wanting to make some of those blocks. They look amazing. Thanks for linking up this week!!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours!
ReplyDeleteIt's great once you start joining blocks together- doesn't it move quickly!
ReplyDeleteThe xplus blocks are so interesting, because they have such a different style, depending on who is making them. Yours are lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty! I have a pile of these blocks, from swaps and bees so it will be very scrappy!
