I spent the evening the other day cutting... I always forget how long this takes.
But i suppose it WILL take a long time when I end up cutting twice as much background fabric than I needed (#talesofineptitude!). But I suppose it's just like getting a head start on another project, right? ;-)
I got all the blocks organized and plated-up...
and finished all of them in about two days. I'm still working on the layout, so this isn't final, but hopefully I'll start putting the rows together this weekend!
It's going to be a beauty!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours, Megan. And the paper plate trick looks very ept. It is going to be such a bright and cheerful quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove,Muv
Oh now that's funny because I was just beginning to wonder when the "ineptitude" was going to come out. :) I haven't seen any since I started following you.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really beautiful quilt, Megan! I love the colors and the gray background is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up with Needle and Thread Thursday!

That is going to be so beautiful! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteNice work! I always underestimate how long something will take. Even when I KNOW I'm doing it! It's like a trick I play on myself so I'm not discouraged. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt to be working on for fall! And such great progress. Keep it up - it's going to be gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt! love it
ReplyDeleteGreat colors! Perfect fall project!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely with the soft gray backgrounds. I guess you'll have to make another one with all those extra squares.
